Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
    4 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat oven to 475\u00b0.
    Heat milk and butter in a double boiler, just until butter melts.
    Beat together eggs, sugar and vanilla and add to milk mixture.
    Pour into a 10-inch pie crust.
    (I use crust from dairy counter, not frozen).
    Cook at 475\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
    Turn temperature to 425\u00b0 and cook 15 minutes more.
    Do not open oven door while cooking!
