Red Velvet Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    7 eggs (one at a time)
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 c. plain flour
    1 c. milk
    1 oz. bottle red food coloring
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Beat well.
    Add rest of ingredients as listed.
    Mix well.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 in large tube pan for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
