Three Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cut green beans
    1 can cut yellow beans
    1 can red kidney beans
    1 small can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. salad oil
Preparation
    Drain all beans and chestnuts.
    Heat sugar, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar.
    Mix all ingredients.
    Refrigerate 24 hours.
    (May double beans without doubling ingredients.)
