Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. yellow squash
    1 large onion
    1/4 c. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. crushed crackers
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion until tender. Remove from heat. Add salt, pepper and butter. Add cracker crumbs, milk, egg and half the grated cheese. Stir until well blended. Pour into casserole; sprinkle remaining grated cheese over top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Yields 8 servings.
