Alpine Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4-6 large chicken breasts (4 c. chopped chicken)
    2 c. toasted bread crumbs
    2 c. celery, chopped
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    dash pepper
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Swiss cheese strips or grated
    1/4 c. slivered almonds (optional)
    1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
Preparation
    Mix chopped chicken, bread crumbs, celery, onion, milk, salt, pepper and cream of chicken soup.
    Layer in a 9x12 casserole dish 1/2 chicken mixture and 1/2 slices of cheese.
    Add remaining chicken mixture and top with remaining cheese slices.
    Cook for 30-40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cut into squares.
    Great with frozen cranberry salad and a roll for luncheon dish.
    Serves 8.
