Sweet And Sour Beans(Allow For 3 To 5 Hours In Crock-Pot.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bacon
    4 small onions
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. dry mustard or powdered ginger
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    2 cans butter beans or Great Northern beans
    1 can green lima beans or black beans
    1 can red kidney beans
    1 can baked beans
Preparation
    Fry
    bacon
    in large skillet until crisp.
    Remove bacon and drain
    off\tsome
    of
    the
    fat.
    Mix in 2-cup measure, the sugar, mustard, garlic powder, salt and vinegar.
    Slice onions and separate
    the
    slices.
    Cook in fat until tender.
    Stir in the mixture.
    Cover; simmer for 20 minutes.
