Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box light brown sugar
2 c. flour
1 1/2 sticks oleo
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. ginger
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Cream sugar and oleo and add flour and mix well.
Set aside 3/4 cup of this mixture.
Into remaining mixture sprinkle soda, spices and eggs.
Mix well.
Stir in buttermilk and mix lightly. Pour into greased and floured pan.
Sprinkle remaining mixture over top; bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Do not overbake.
