Soft, Drop Sugar Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pt. sugar
1/2 pt. butter
4 eggs
1 tsp. rosewater or lemon flavoring
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
4 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar by hand until light in color and texture.
Dissolve baking soda in sour cream.
Beat eggs by hand. Add to butter and sugar mixture, then add flour, working it in by hand.
Add sour cream and baking soda mixture and flavoring.
