Indian Golden Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. chicken tenders
1 small can tomatoes
2 large onions, sliced
1 piece ginger, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 c. yogurt
4 Tbsp. salad oil
1 tsp. turmeric powder
1/2 tsp. coriander powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon powder
4 cloves
5 peppercorns
1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
salt to taste
Preparation

Saute onions, ginger and garlic in shortening or salad oil. Heat yogurt in a small saucepan and add all seasonings.
Put chicken in pan with sauteed onion mixture.
Pour yogurt mixture and tomatoes over this.
Mix well and cover pot, letting it cook on medium for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken is tender.
Remove lid and brown the chicken until much of the liquid evaporates.
Serve over rice or couscous.
