Cranberry Ice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. cranberries, cooked with small amount of water
    1 c. hot water
    4 oranges
    3 lemons
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cook cranberries until they pop and are well done.
    Run through a sieve.
    In a large bowl, dissolve
    3 cups sugar in 1 cup hot water, then add the berry pulp and stir well.
    When cool, add juice of 4 oranges and 2 to 3 lemons and stir.
    Put in any size pan, but the 10 x 3 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch works well.
    Freeze until partly frozen, then stir well once or twice.
    Good served at holiday time.
    Makes about 2 quarts.
