Confectioners Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, flour and salt; gradually stir in milk.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
    Boil and stir 2 minutes.
    Blend a small amount of hot mixture into egg yolks; return all to pan.
    Cook for 1 minute (do not boil).
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Cover and chill.
