Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cake or pkg. yeast
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. soda
2 c. buttermilk
5 c. plain flour
4 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. lukewarm water
1 tsp. salt
1 stick margarine, melted
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Grease baking pans.
Sift dry ingredients together in large bowl.
Blend in shortening. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Add buttermilk to yeast.
Pour over flour mixture.
Mix well.
