Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. melted shortening
1 regular size can applesauce (2 c.)
2 eggs (unbeaten)
1 c. raisins
2 c. nuts
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and beat.
In other bowl, mix dry ingredients.
Add applesauce and mix well.
Add creamed mixture to second bowl and beat.
Add raisins and nuts. Bake in floured tube pan for 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
