Aunt Fanny'S Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. summer or zucchini squash
    1/2 c. onion
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 stick oleo, melted
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cut up and boil squash until tender.
    Drain thoroughly, then mash.
    Add rest of ingredients and 1/2 of melted oleo.
    Mix 1/2 cup bread crumbs and rest of melted oleo.
    Put squash mixture in 8 x 8-inch casserole dish.
    Sprinkle crumbs over top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
