Angel Yeast Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. buttermilk at room temperature
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 yeast cake
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2/3 c. cooking oil
    2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Next add 1 cup applesauce or crushed pineapple (drained) and 2/3 cup nuts.
    Pour into 2 well-greased loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
    Cool on rack for 10 minutes before removing from pan.
