Beef In Beer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large London broil
    3 cans Franco-American beef gravy
    1/2 can beer (not Bud, it's bitter)
    ketchup to taste (maybe 1 1/2 Tbsp.)
    3 c. water
    1 whole onion
    garlic to taste
    any veggie you would add to a pot roast, i.e., potatoes, carrots, peppers, onions, whatever
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Slice beef (uncooked) about 1/2-inch thick. Arrange in large roaster.
    Combine all ingredients except the veggies.
    Pour over beef.
    Seal with heavy-duty aluminum foil. Cook in oven for 2 hours.
