Mother'S Butterscotch Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 egg, separated
1/2 c. cream
dash of salt
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Beat yolks until thick; add cream. Beat into butter and sugar.
Cook in double boiler until thick. Pour slowly over egg whites.
Serve hot.
