Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. water
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water; set aside.
    Mix dry ingredients in order given.
    Cut in shortening.
    Stir in buttermilk and yeast mixture.
    Blend thoroughly.
    Turn dough on floured board; knead lightly as for regular biscuits; roll and cut.
    Place on greased pan.
    Let rise lightly.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven 12 to 15 minutes.
