Chocolate Chip Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2/3 c. soft margarine
    2 eggs, unbeaten
    2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
    Cream sugar and margarine well and add eggs, one at a time, beating until fluffy.
    Add vanilla and almond extract.
    Mix in flour mixture, alternating with the milk.
    Fold in nuts and chocolate chips.
    Pat batter into pan.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Test with toothpick for doneness.
