Chai - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    1/4 tsp. cardamom seeds
    6 whole cloves
    1 (3-inch) cinnamon stick
    6 black peppercorns
    2 (1/4-inch thick) slices fresh ginger
    4 tea bags (black tea)
    2 c. soy milk
Preparation
    On the stove, put water, tea and spices in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
    Reduce to low boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Strain and return to pan.
    Add milk and reheat.
    Makes 4 servings.
