Potato Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. leftover mashed potatoes
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbsp. flour or more if potatoes are thin
2 Tbsp. cream or milk
1 tsp. onion
2 to 3 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation

Mix all ingredients except shortening.
Heat shortening.
Drop potatoes by tablespoons and brown on both sides.
Serves 4 to 6.
