Apple Butter Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 egg
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons nutmeg
2 teaspoons allspice
1 teaspoon cloves
2 teaspoons soda
3/4 cup buttermilk
1 cup apple butter
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream butter and brown sugar in mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Blend in egg.
Combine flour and spices in a bowl.
Mix soda and buttermilk in a cup.
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk mixture, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in apple butter and pecans.
Pour into greased 5x9 inch loaf pan.
Bake for 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Reduce temperature to 325\u00b0 and bake for additional 20 minutes or until the loaf tests done.
Cool in pan for 5 minutes.
Invert onto serving plate.
