Zak'S Flapjaks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. buttermilk
4 Tbsp. melted butter
2 Tbsp. cold butter
Preparation

Mix sugar, flour, baking powder and salt together in a large bowl. Whisk eggs and buttermilk until smooth in another bowl. Add buttermilk mixture to dry ingredients, along with melted butter. Let batter rest for 10 minutes. Heat large skillet over medium-high heat until hot and melt 1 teaspoon butter in pan. Spoon batter into skillet for each Flapjak. Cook until bubbles form on surface. Turn Flapjaks and cook other side until golden brown. Batter makes about 18 Flapjaks.
