Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    3 c. unsalted peanuts
    2 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cook syrup, sugar and water to firm boiling stage.
    Add peanuts.
    Continue to cook, stirring constantly until mixture is light brown or hard crack stage.
    Stir in butter, salt and soda. Pour in buttered baking dish while still foamy.
