Black-Eyed Peas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 (15.8 oz.) can black-eyed peas, undrained
1 (14.5 oz.) can stewed tomatoes, undrained
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. chili powder
dash of red pepper
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. liquid smoke (optional)
1 Tbsp. parsley
Preparation

Spray skillet with cooking spray; place over medium-high heat until hot.
Add onion and green pepper; saute until they are tender-crisp.
Add peas and next ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer for about 20 minutes, stir.
Serve.
