Rose'S Mayonnaise Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. boiling water
1 c. walnuts, chopped
1 tsp. soda
2 c. sugar
2 c. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. chocolate
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
2 c. dates or raisins
3 c. flour

Preparation

Boil water and pour over nuts, raisins and soda.
Allow this mixture to cool.
Cream sugar and mayonnaise.
Add chocolate and cinnamon.
Stir together well.
Add flour slowly, alternating with water mixture, mixing well.
Put in greased and floured oblong pan and bake for 50 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven or until done.
