Simply Sauteed Cinnamon Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 stick butter or margarine
    6 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
    2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar, mixed with 1/8 to 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    4 c. pitted sour cherries, with their juice
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. whole wheat flour
    1/3 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    6 Tbsp. cold unsalted butter, cut in pieces
    1/4 c. chopped walnuts
    1/4 c. rolled oats
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Combine cherries and sugar and let stand 10 minutes.
    Place in sieve and let drain very well.
    Place in a 9-inch pie plate and set aside.
