Spicy Ginger-Garlic Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    1 1/2 tsp. grated ginger root
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 to 3/4 tsp. ground red pepper
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground cardamom
    1 Tbsp. ketchup
    1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    1 Tbsp. water
    8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (2 lb.)
Preparation
    In a small mixing bowl, combine garlic, ginger root, salt, red pepper, black pepper, cinnamon and cardamom.
    Stir in ketchup, vinegar and water.
    Set aside.
    Rinse chicken breasts; pat dry with paper towels.
    Brush both sides of each chicken breast with garlic mixture.
    Place chicken in a shallow baking pan.
    Bake, uncovered, in a 375\u00b0 oven for 45 to 55 minutes or until no longer pink.
    Makes 8 servings.
