Ingredients

2 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. brown sugar
lump of butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. white sugar
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
1 c. four
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Boil water, brown sugar and butter for 10 minutes.
Add vanilla; mix remaining ingredients and drop by spoonfuls in sauce. Bake 10 minutes.
Yields 4 to 6 servings.
