Chocolate Intrigue Cake - cooking recipe

3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. Hershey's syrup
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; blend in eggs, one at a time.
Mix all with milk and vanilla.
Blend well.
Turn 2/3 of batter into 10-inch tube pan, greased on bottom.
Add syrup, soda and vanilla to remaining batter; mix well.
Pour over white batter and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 65 to 70 minutes.
