Caramelized Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large sweet onions, sliced into 1/4-inch slices
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Separate onion slices into rings, set aside.
    In heavy nonstick frypan, evenly sprinkle sugar and heat over medium heat until sugar melts and starts to brown.
    When sugar is medium brown, add butter, Worcestershire sauce and vinegar.
    When butter starts to bubble, add the onion rings.
    Raise the heat slightly and saute, stirring frequently, until onion is translucent and covered with dark brown caramel sauce, about 6 or 8 minutes.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
