Picnic Party Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. butter or margarine, softened
    2 c. ground cooked ham, smoked or boiled
    1 Tbsp. grated onion
    1 tsp. crushed garlic
    3 Tbsp. heavy cream
    2 tsp. strong prepared mustard
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    2 Tbsp. chopped chives
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 loaf French bread (8-inches long and 3-inches in diameter)
Preparation
    Beat butter until light and fluffy.
    Gradually add ham, a little at a time.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Add the remaining ingredients and mix until almost smooth.
    Cover bowl tightly with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for several hours.
    This can be done 1 day ahead.
