Hot Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1/2 c. sliced onion
    1/2 c. minced celery
    1/4 c. bacon drippings
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. water
    1/3 c. vinegar
    5 medium potatoes (4 c.), cooked and cubed
Preparation
    Cook bacon crisp; drain on paper towel.
    Crumble.
    Saute onion and celery in 1/2 cup of drippings.
    Combine sugar, flour and seasonings.
    Stir into drippings.
    Add vinegar and water, stirring until smooth.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add potatoes and bacon bits.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Yields 6 servings.
