Old-Fashioned Jelly Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    confectioners sugar
    1 c. currant jelly or strawberry or raspberry
Preparation
    In large bowl of electric mixer, beat eggs warm to room temperature about 1 hour.
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Lightly grease bottom of a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan, then line with wax paper.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt, then set aside.
    At high speed, beat eggs until thick and lemon colored.
    Gradually beat in sugar one tablespoon at a time.
    Continue beating until very thick and light, about 5 minutes.
    At low speed, blend in sifted dry ingredients and vanilla just until combined.
    Turn into prepared pan; spread evenly.
    Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until surface springs back when gently pressed with fingertips.
