Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. soda
1 lb. unroasted peanuts
Preparation

Combine sugar, syrup, water, salt and butter.
Cook slowly. Do not stir until sugar dissolves.
Cook to soft ball stage.
Add peanuts.
Cook to hard crack stage, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Add soda.
Pour onto greased cookie sheet.
When cold, break into pieces.
