Foolproof Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour, spooned lightly
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. water
    1 large egg
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 3/4 c. shortening
    1 Tbsp. white vinegar
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar and salt.
    Add cut up shortening, not too fine.
    Beat water, vinegar and egg; mix well in a jar.
    Add to flour mixture; mix all together.
    Makes enough pie crust mix for 3 pies.
    This dough can be frozen, wrapped in wax paper.
    Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes; reduce to 350\u00b0 for about an hour.
