Lemon Jello Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small boxes Jell-O, prepared per box directions
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (20 oz.) can drained crushed pineapple (save liquid for topping)
    3 tart apples, pared, cored and chopped fine
    3 bananas, diced
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. sugar
    2/3 c. pineapple juice
    1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts and/or a maraschino cherry (optional)
Preparation
    Prepare the Jell-O.
    Add 2 tablespoons sugar, drained pineapple, apples and bananas.
    Pour into oiled Pyrex dish and refrigerate overnight.
