Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    1/4 c. butter or oleo, softened
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    2 c. yellow squash, cooked and drained well
    3/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs, seasoned with dash of salt, pepper and sage
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except buttered bread crumbs.
    Place in a greased casserole dish; top with buttered bread crumbs and bake at 300\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Serves 6.
