Strawberry Dream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 angel food cake, broken in bite size pieces
    1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding, prepared as directed
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 c. strawberry jam
    1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
    1 pkg. sliced almonds (optional)
Preparation
    Place layer of cake in the bottom of a large glass bowl.
    Pour in vanilla pudding, enough to almost cover.
    Add strawberries and few spoons of jam.
    Repeat two times.
    Top with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with almonds.
    Prepare a few hours before serving or overnight.
    Keep refrigerated.
    Good light summer dessert!
