Ruth'S Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

9-inch pie crust
12 slices bacon
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
1/3 c. onion
4 eggs
2 c. whipping or light cream
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
Preparation

Cook bacon crisp and crumble.
Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion on pastry.
Blend remaining ingredients with rotary beater and pour into pie shell.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Lower heat to 300\u00b0 and bake for 30 minutes.
Insert knife; when it comes out clean, it is done.
Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
