Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 stick butter
    1/2 can condensed milk
    1/2 can water
    pinch of salt
    2 c. pecan halves
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook on high for 2 minutes, until sugar is dissolved.
    Stir using candy making temperature probe.
    Set on 4 and cook to soft ball (234\u00b0 to 240\u00b0).
    Transfer to mixer bowl; add vanilla.
    Beat with dough hook until it snaps.
    If you do not have a dough hook, beat with a spoon until it snaps.
    Spoon on a buttered aluminum foil.
