Applesauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 apples, cut in chunks
    1/3 c. raisins
    1/4 c. chopped almonds
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in a saucepan.
    Cover; bring to a boil. Reduce to low and simmer until apples are tender, stirring occasionally.
    Serve warm or cold.
    Makes four servings.
