Raisin Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. flour
1 lb. raisins, cooked
1 c. nut meats (optional)
Preparation
-
Cream together sugar and shortening.
Add rest of ingredients, cooking raisins until soft and adding to batter last.
Bake in muffin tins at 375\u00b0.
