Fig Nut Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. finely cut up figs
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease baking pan.
    Beat eggs until foamy; beat in sugar and vanilla.
    Blend in flour, baking powder and salt.
    Stir in figs and nuts.
    Spread batter in pans.
    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes; cool.
    Cut into bars.
    Makes 2 dozen cookies.
