Oat Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. oats
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

Add oats to boiling water; let stand 20 minutes.
Cream the shortening.
Add the remaining ingredients; mix the oats last. Cook for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
