Ingredients

6 c. white vinegar
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. water
3 tsp. spice mix
Preparation

Leave 2-inch tops and roots on beets.
Wash.
Boil beets until tender, peel and cut into slices.
Put beets in a large pan.
Pour mixture over beets and let come to a boil.
