Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
3/4 c. molasses
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. powdered cloves
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. solid white shortening, melted
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. boiling water
Preparation

Add beaten eggs to brown sugar, molasses and shortening.
Add flour, soda, spices, baking powder and boiling water; mix well. Pour into well-greased and floured pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
