Date Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 small pkg. dates (unsugared)
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Bring sugar and milk to a full foaming boil in a saucepan. Add dates.
Cook until dates mixture dissolves or until mixture reaches soft boil stage.
Remove from fire and add nuts.
Beat until mixture begins to thicken.
Pour mixture onto a wet cloth and roll up.
Slice when cool.
