Hungarian Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. oil
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1 onion, thinly sliced
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Boil ingredients together 1 minute.
    Pour boiling water over cabbage and onions; cover.
    Let stand overnight in refrigerator. Stir cabbage and onion together before the oil mixture is poured over.
    Do not stir again until you are ready to serve.
    Will keep up to 6 weeks.
