Pork And Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. leftover pork, cut in 1-inch cubes
3 apples, pared and thinly sliced
5 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. leftover gravy (from pork)
3 c. hot mashed yams
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 c. cream
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Alternate layers of meat and apples in greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan or Pyrex dish.
Sprinkle each layer of apples with sugar and cinnamon. Add gravy. Combine yams and butter and beat until smooth. Blend in cream.
Add salt and pepper. Spread over pork mixture. Sprinkle with walnuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.
